A Suite with Something Blue

When Marlee and Tyler began dreaming up their wedding details, they envisioned something classic with personality—a design that balanced tradition with tailored touches. We had the joy of bringing that vision to life through a fully custom stationery suite that carried their story from ceremony to send-off.

The first impression? A timeless invitation suite that hinted at everything to come. Guests opened a layered design wrapped in soft floral vellum, unveiling a monogrammed powder-blue details card, and the main invitation—all featuring elegant serif typography. The envelopes were lined with floral motifs in soft, dusty hues—an early nod to the “something blue” that would echo throughout the day. From the crisp white cardstock to the thoughtful typography, it was a preview of the elegance, romance, and attention to detail guests would experience in person.

From the moment guests arrived, the tone was extended with a refined welcome sign featuring the couple’s bespoke monogram—a motif that would weave its way throughout the celebration. The elegant crest, framed in soft script and timeless typography, became the foundation of the design. This same emblem graced the couple’s seating chart, surrounded by a wash of soft blue floral print that made Marlee’s “something blue” feel both personal and elevated.

But the details didn’t stop there. Each paper piece was created to feel intentional and cohesive. Custom table numbers and individual seat tents guided guests with elegance, while a sleek thank-you sign expressed gratitude in the couple’s own words. Behind the bar, a coordinating drink sign mirrored the day’s design elements, tying the guest experience together seamlessly.

One of the most playful details? Custom cocktail napkins featuring a sketch of their beloved French Bulldog—an unexpected, personal touch that added charm and delighted their guests. The personality continued behind the scenes with branded gift tags on each bridal party box, carrying the monogram into even the most intimate moments of the day. Even the late-night snack table got a dose of style, with signage that kept the visual language consistent—down to the final bite.

This suite wasn’t just beautiful—it was comprehensive. It told a story, honored the couple, and reminded everyone that thoughtful design makes a lasting impression.

One of the most thoughtful design moments came in the form of color. A soft, powder blue was incorporated throughout the suite—from the floral pattern behind the seating display to the gentle tones in their arrangements. It was Marlee’s “something blue,” seamlessly woven into the guest experience. Paired with creamy whites, clean type, and structured layouts, the effect was refined and romantic.

This suite was more than just paper—it was a quiet storyteller. From the ceremony welcome to the reception reveal, every element felt curated, cohesive, and intentionally theirs.
