I kicked off this year ready to make some lifestyle changes and Faster Way to Fat Loss has been one of those that I am implementing. If you have been following me on Instagram lately, you are probably asking yourself, “How is she eating Jimmy John’s while losing weight?” Well, I am here to tell you that I am eating what I want (within reason) and I can feel my jeans fitting looser after only 14 days on the program.
I have followed multiple influencers journey with Faster Way to Fat Loss and watched how they incorporated this program into a busy lifestyle while juggling kids and work. I have had about five pounds of baby weight left to lose, but also want to feel confident post-baby come pool season (you know what they say, “summer bodies are made in the winter”.
It is amazing how much more energy and clarity I have and how easy this program is to follow and maintain.
Faster Way to Fat Loss is a 6-week online diet and fitness program. To be honest, I fully researched the program seriously at least a month and thought that I could do my own version of it without signing up for a coach. I am SO thankful I chose to sign up with coach. I thrive off praise, structure and accountability, so this is perfect for me.
Immediately after signing up with my coach, Quincy (I have never met Quincy in real life, but I think we would be best friends if we did meet), I was given access to an online portal and Facebook group with about 35 other women. In the Facebook group, we share recipes, have daily check ins and cheer one another on.
The first week of Faster Way to Fat Loss is all about learning and getting familiar with the program. Quincy, taught us about the program, macros and Intermittent Fasting. The remaining six weeks we work alongside Quincy to eat the right foods, for the right reasons, at the right times.
I fast for 16 hours and eat for 8. This allows my body to recover when I’m “fasting” and digest during the eating portions of the day. I tend to graze in the morning and snack late at night out of boredom. The fasting has helped me from mindlessly eating.
I log my carbohydrates, proteins and fats each day into Faster Way to Fat Loss portal daily (this has been updated since I began the program in 2018 and it is AMAZING!!). This experience has been so eye opening for me to see what I am consuming. Two days are low carb days, three days are regular macro days (today I ate a turkey sandwich on wheat bread from Jimmy Johns for lunch, snacks and a LARGE fajita bowl tonight for dinner) and two days are low macro days. There is a science behind it all that is over my head. I am not starving, my clothes are fitting better and I am ENJOYING what I am eating. I might even have the boys hooked on brown rice and whole grain pasta.
Faster Way to Fat Loss is a way of living and you shouldn’t feel punished if you enjoy an Oreo (just log it into the Faster Way to Fat Loss portalso you are accountable of what is going into your body). I have begun to enjoy preparing meals at home and it has been fun showing the kids how to cook.
Fasting: I drink a cup or two of caffeinated and decaf coffee in the morning with a bit of this creamer and MAV Collagen. The key is to not go above 50 calories or I will break my fast. I occasionally treat myself to a Venti Unsweet Green Tea and Venti Ice Water from Starbucks. Why is their water so delicious?
Breakfast (around Noon): Kashi Gluten-Free Whole Grain Waffles, Jimmy John’s Sandwich, Egg Salad, Mini Snacks- cheese sticks, apples and peanut butter, sugar snap peas and hummus
Dinner: Fajita Bowls (onion, pepper, ground beef, avocado, sour cream, brown rice), Breaded Pork Chops, Pot Roast, Spaghetti with Whole Wheat Pasta, Brussel Sprouts
Snacks: Peanut Butter and Apples, Almonds, Sweet Potato Chips, …
I mean seriously, this food is all so delicious (and nutritious)! It is all about progress over perfection, so if you have a little Oreo treat that is ok. Track it, don’t make a habit of it and keep eating within your macros the rest of the day.
Your macros are calculated based on your height, weight, goals, etc. Everyone will have different macro goals every day, so your meal plans will never be exactly what someone else in the group might be consuming. I kind of like the challenge of figuring out what to eat within my macros, it’s like an eating puzzle!
There are three workouts for various skill levels: gym, at home and beginner. Each day is a different workouts and coincide with the meal plan for the day. I do everything from home, but if I am being honest, I have not really been that great at working out. I really like the strength days and skip the cardio days (for now). Once I get a handle on balancing my new “normal” with an infant, toddler and business, I will start ramping up my work outs.

For me, this isn’t a diet, it is a way of life. Keeping up with three kiddos and multiple businesses, I need to fuel my body with the nutrients it craves to be a BossMama (or at least try to be)!
