Hi!! I’m Micheal Flavin Sparkman Born into this world on March 31, 2015.  I weighed 9.9 pounds and measured 21 inches long! I was much bigger then the doctors and my mommy and daddy thought, boy did I surprise them!

Mommy was supposed to be induced with me, but I decided that I was going to come on my own without her needing any drugs (cervidil) to speed up my arrival.  Mommy only had to push for 18 minutes and then I was here!

I am named after my daddy (Joshua Micheal) and both my Grandpas (John Michael and Micheal Bruce). Flavin was my mommy’s family that came over from Ireland in the late 1800s and started a grocery store that is now known as Browne’s Irish Marketplace (previously Flavin’s Market). I am the first of the sixth generation that will get to be there!

Some more things about me:

• I don’t like being naked. But I am learning to accept it when it comes to bath time.
• I can sleep through anything  (I really like when daddy puts on Michael Buble, I sleep well to that!)
• At 12 days old I was sleeping 7+ hours through the night!  I am a really good sleeper.
• There is this other furry thing that runs around the house. I am starting to get used to her, mommy and daddy call her Kimball. In the beginning she tried to take my pacifiers but has quickly learned that is not for her to take.
• I love to snuggle with my daddy on his chest.

J. Smith Innovations Photography came to the hospital to take my pictures when I was a day old.  Mommy has worked with them on several weddings and I was excited to finally meet Julie because I had heard her voice a lot before I was born.  They did such a good job!
